In one of my previous blogs I mentioned Healthè Trim and how it annoyed me because I was certain it was the same as every other diet pill. But my curiosity finally caved in and I ordered it. I started taking it on March 1st, so a week ago today, and I have to be honest, I might have been wrong. I refuse to announce my starting weight or measurements but what I will say is I think it is working.
In all fairness to everyone reading that thinks they too might want to try this supplement, I have to include the fact that I have also eliminated dairy in addition to taking the pills.
Let me tell you a little about the pill, how I am feeling, side effects both good and bad, and all the changes.
Side effects
· It does NOT make you feel jittery at all!
· While it does not make you feel jittery, it does give you energy, you feel AWAKE (I appreciate this, no afternoon crashes, or 1st thought in the morning being “when do I get to go back to bed”.
· It has made it difficult to sleep at night, but even with only a few hours of sleep, I am not feeling tired the next day.
· It really does suppress your appetite, with that said you may need to remind yourself to eat, there have been several days where I had next to nothing, i.e., 1 piece of toast (and that is it for the entire day), Hummus and pretzel sticks, celery and peanut butter. Not eating is not good for you, hence why reminding yourself to eat is imporatant.
· It makes you feel very thirsty! It instructs you to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day with it, and says no caffeinated drinks.
· I feel that it is a great hangover relief too, there have been a couple mornings where I probably had WAY too much to drink the night before and when I would have otherwise normally felt like shit the next day, I really don’t…still a little slow but not the “I need to stay in bed all day to sleep this one off” kind of hangover.

Changes I have made
· I told myself I was going to start exercising however I haven’t found the time yet, the only added physical activity I have done is sitting on my exercise ball at work, and the natural increase in activity just because I have more energy, i.e., not sitting and watching TV but running around the house getting stuff done, not going to bed so early, etc. –Still plan to increase physical activity like working out.
· Again, I don’t eat dairy or anything with whey in it.
· Started sitting on my ball on Friday at work so this is only day two of that.
· Started taking the stairs at work (that is four very long steep flights of stairs…don’t judge me lol)
· drastically reduced the amount of food I eat, I love carbs…can make a meal out of just garlic bread, and now, I live off of hummus, pretzels, celery, peanut butter, tuna, and occasionally actually have a “real” meal like chicken, or fish.
· I try not to eat anything after 7:30pm.\

All in all, the scale actually hasn’t changed, although this is disappointing because that is one way to measure weight loss, but my clothes are definitely fitting different.

Bottom line…one week in I give it 5 stars.
