Fit for Reality TV

I once had a professor (my favorite professor might I add) in college who said to me "Amanda, if there was a reality TV show based on your life, I would rearrange MY life to watch it".  There have been similar statements made by other people, generally these comments are made after I am done telling one of my "hilarious" stories that I tend to end with the phrase "I can't make this shit up".

Today's "I can't make this shit up" story has to do with the idiots at Best Buy (Sorry Jessie)...

Months ago I ordered a floor model Samsung refrigerator from Best Buy during a Tax Free Weekend event.  I got a great deal, don't get me wrong, however, the delivery guys delivering the fridge forgot the tray that goes in the little cubby hole where the water and ice are dispensed. Annoying, I know right?

Ok, I get it, mistakes happen.  I call my good friend Jessie who works there and tell him about it, he suggests I call the store to make a "formal" request.  I proceed to call the store, the woman girl that answered the phone told me I needed to call 1-800-Geek Squad, of course she couldn't just transfer me, WHATEVER!  So I call Geek Squad, they tell me that I need to talk directly with the store, which is where I started, (I am cutting out the several transfers where I am having to explain the same story to each person that I was transferred to both at the store and at Geed Squad).  After calling the store back, talking to the same girl, who had an attitude with me (I swear I didn't have an attitude with her even though it would have been warranted, I can assure you), she transferred me to the appliance department there within the store.  This women says she can order the part, after looking on the floor models to see if she could just steal one from there, but says the part will be delivered to the store and that I would need to pick it up.  I told her I wanted it delivered to me since it should have been delivered with the fridge and because this particular store is out of my way (I only bought it from this store because of Jessie).   At first the women argued with me but eventually agreed to have it mailed to me.

This whole thing took place a couple of weeks ago, I FINALLY got "the tray" in the mail yesterday.

Viewers...maybe you can help me understand, please look at the pictures below and tell me if I am missing a particular skill set that prevents me from seeing how this "fits".  Keep in mind, this women who said she would order the part actually pulled up my receipt and got the model number off that.

Anyone?!?!  Do you see it?  Am I missing it?  Bueller....Bueller....

I should probably assume it will be MY responsibility to take this tray, and my lovely pictures into the store, argue with the idiot women who ordered it, wait ANOTHER 7-14 business days before I MIGHT get the correct one.  What do you think?

This is just one of a dozen of these sort of things...just like the carpet idiots and the pack n play we got (it was missing the music/vibrating thingy), I mean how do so many of these things happen to me...I can't make this shit up!!!!!
